Virginia S Tony Bennett Will Return To Sidelines After Blacking Out Right Before Halftime

Bennett later told CBS Sports on the broadcast right before the second half that he was “crouched down and a little dehydrated” which made him “become light-headed” and “black-out” a little bit. The 46-year-old coach says he’s “OK” and will return to the sidelines to coach the second half of Thursday’s game.

UVa trainers helped Bennett to the locker room a few seconds before time expired in the first half. He was able to walk on his own.
