Vmas 2022 Nominees The Full List And How To Vote

The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) will take place on Sunday, August 28 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

On Tuesday, July 26, MTV announced all of the acts in the running for awards and details of how to vote so you can help your favorite act take home the mini spaceman trophy.

Voting is easy. All you have to do is head to the VMA website at https://www.mtv.com/vma/vote/video-of-the-year.

If you cast your vote on Tuesday, July 26, your votes will be doubled, giving your favorite act an even better chance of winning.

Each day, you are allocated 20 votes which you can spread out across each category. You can vote every single day until voting closes on Friday, August 19.

To cast your vote, you need to make an MTV VMA voting account or log in via Google and Twitter.

Who Are the 2022 VMA Nominees?

Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles, and Jack Harlow are at the top of the list of 2022 VMA nominees.

Harlow, Lamar, and Lil Nas X lead the way with seven nominations in total.

Together, Harlow and Lil Nas X are up for Best Collaboration and Video of the Year for their song Industry Baby.

Lamar is up for Best Hip-Hop for N95; Video for Good award for The Heart Part 5; and Best Direction for Family Ties.

Styles and Doja Cat are close behind with six nominations each. They are followed by Drake, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, the Weeknd, and Dua Lipa with five.

VMA veteran Madonna has also made history as the only artist to be nominated in each decade since the VMAs began in 1984. At the 2022 awards, Madonna is up for Best Longform Video for Madame X.

Surprisingly Adele’s chart-topping fourth studio album 30 received only two nominations: Song of the Year for Easy on Me and Best Art Direction for Oh My God.
