Miller has been holding out in hopes for a long-term contract. He’s currently under the franchise tag, which will guarantee him $14.129 million in 2016. He reportedly was offered a six-year, $114.5 million contract but declined it due to the specifics around the amount of guaranteed money.
Per reports, Denver offered him about $58 million in guarantees, but the Super Bowl MVP wants closer to $70 million. The Broncos have until July 15 to oblige before Miller is forced to stay under the franchise tag.
