When asked directly in an interview with ESPN if he blamed himself for the loss, Burfict responded, “No, I don’t.”
Shortly after in the interview, he placed the blame on someone else.

“There was only a minute left in the game,” Burfict said about the time remaining after he recorded what seemed to be the game-winning interception. “Coach always says, ‘Trust a teammate to pack your parachute,’ and I trusted my teammate. I don’t want to say any names, but I trusted my teammates to execute and finish the game.”
While he said he didn’t want to name names, he really narrowed the candidate down to only one person: Jeremy Hill. The running back fumbled the ball, giving the Steelers an extra possession.
While it’s true Hill should share some blame for the loss, something he has admitted, it’s rare to see an athlete throw a teammate under the bus like that. Hill could use the same quote of “Trust a teammate to pack your parachute” on Burfict and Jones.
At the end of the day, this is a team game and losses can’t be pinned on one player in particular.
